We are happy to report that Blackboard has confirmed that most services impacted by this morning’s Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage have been restored. They are continuing to work actively with AWS to resolve any remaining disruptions. Please be aware that some features may still experience slowness or temporary unavailability over the next few hours as full service is restored.
WEPA printing was restored earlier this afternoon.
We will continue to monitor these services and provide an update if they experience additional instability or widespread unavailability.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the IT Service Center at itsupport@bridgew.edu or call 508.531.2555.
Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout these AWS-related issues.

Investigating
A widespread Amazon Web Services outage is causing disruptions to Blackboard and WEPA printing.
Blackboard users (faculty and students) may experience login difficulties, slow performance, or difficulty opening student submissions or using tools such as inline commenting (Annotate).
Several WEPA printing stations are off-line.
We are actively monitoring service availability and performance as our partners work to restore service.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
